As you may know I’ve been watching my weight lately, but my family loves sweets making it really difficult to manage let alone lose any weight around here!
When the folks at NECTRESSE™Sweetener asked me to review their product, I jumped at the chance! Satisfying our ‘sweet tooth’, while sticking to my goals? SCORE!
This past Sunday I made Apple Cinnamon Pancakes substituting Nectresse for sugar. They turned out delicious, I knew I had to share with my lovely readers:
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
6 Nectresse sweetener packets
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1 /2 cups of 1% milk
1/4 cup of melted butter (or light butter, or margarine)
1 cup chopped apple (or pear!)
Directions:
Blend all dry ingredients together, set aside
Whisk together eggs, vanilla, milk, and melted butter.
Add to the dry ingredients, mixing gently, some lumps in the batter are o.k. Fold in apples.
Pour 1/3 cup of batter per pancake onto a hot griddle, cook until bubbles appear on top. Flip pancake and cook until golden brown on other side.
My skeptical family LOVED them! The hubs couldn’t believe that just 6 packets of Nectresse were used!
I told him it’s because Nectresse is 150 sweeter than sugar, so you can use much less than you would sugar.
Another impressive quality about Nectresse, it’s endorsed by one of the world’s most respected journalists, Lisa Ling!
If Nectresse can help Lisa, can’t it help so many others? Share this video with your friends and loved ones!
Nectresse is definitely a product I’ll be using as I watch my family’s sugar intake.
So did you think I was going to go on and on about this fabulous product without telling you how you can get some, for FREE? Oh, but of course not!
