If there is any one thing I make sure we have plenty of at parties, it’s avocados! We hosted a Superbowl party the other day and I couldn’t get enough of the guacamole and seven-layer dip, but do you know that an avocado can be used in more ways than just chip dipping?
I’ve heard of tempura avocado (fried avocado slices), and avocado ice cream, it’s been grilled and made into a soup, and so much more! Every option sounds so delicious!!
Check out this quick recipe for Avocado Ice Cream:
2 Avocados
2 Bananas
3 tbsp. of sugar (or substitute)
1 cup of almond milk (or soy)
Blend everything up, place it in a bowl and freeze it for 2 hours or until solid. Scoop it out like ice cream, and enjoy!
{Cute badge huh? Want one? Go to the Share the Avocado Love Facebook app to get it! Did you know that there is an entire avocado movement out there? It’s true, I’m not the only one who loves them!
Take a look at the Avocados from Mexico Cafe Press store, I scored this schnazzy mug! Mmmm, some hot chocolate and a slice of yummy avocado pie, sounds good right about now!
Do you love avocados like I do? What type of dishes have you made with this delicious fruit (yup–fruit)?
Check out the Avocados from Mexico website for nutritional info, tons of recipes, current promotions, and more! Yumm!

Avocado ice cream sounds so unique! I would love to try some. I consider avocados one of my main food groups (hehe!). But, I would also like to get my hands on that mug too:)

Kelly,
The mug is great! It’s really tall and holds lots of coffee (so it’s officially ‘my’ mug in the house). I found the recipe somewhere online a long time ago and it just stuck cause it was so easy to make and when I tried it, I ended up eating the entire thing!
