Glitter Blast Easter Eggs

This post is brought to you in part by Krylon.

Happy April everyone! While you all were planning your April Fool’s jokes this past weekend (wink!), I was out in the yard with my Krylon paint prepping for Spring, and giving some old Easter eggs a little Glitter Blast!

Like a true re-purposer (new word), I use and reuse what I can, when I can.  I have used the same packs of plastic Easter eggs from the dollar store for at least 3-4 years.   As soon as the kids find them and scoop out the goodies, I throw them in the sink, give them a quick wash and dry, and toss them in the “Easter bin” for next year.  Why not?!

This year I took a handful of plastic Easter eggs and ‘blasted’ some glitter spray on them, I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of this before!

Painted plastic Easter eggs

I know you love spray paint as much as I do, so have you checked out the Glitter Blast glitter spray by Krylon?

Krylon’s Glitter Blast is an intense, sparkling glitter finish that will work on so many surfaces!  I used it on plastic, but you can also use it on craft foam, wood, metal, wicker, glass, pottery, paper mache, plastic, ceramic and more.

Just lay the plastic egg halves on a flat surface and give them a couple ‘blasts’ of glitter spray.

Allow it to dry to the touch for about 20 minutes, and overnight for full handling.

Then display them anywhere you want to add a fun touch to your spring decor!

Seriously, I want to spray glitter on everything!

What can use a little Glitter Blast in your home this Easter?
