A couple of months ago I got myself a new dresser from Sauder to double as a sturdy piece in my entry way. It’s been a great addition to our living space, functional, and nice to look at!
The dresser served as a great spot for extra storage, but eventually became a fabulous place to hide all the ‘catch all’ items that end up in the living room (mysteriously because no one in my house will fess up to leaving their stuff out). It also became the best place to keep our everyday shoes in the summer. It held the boy’s tennis shoes, and a handy pair of flip flops that I can grab on my way out the door.
That really helped us out this summer! Good quality, affordable, and versatile furniture is hard to find, so now that we are in a new season, I thought I’d rearrange a few pieces to make room for holiday decor. I moved that dresser into my guest room.
Doesn’t it look great in there? The Sauder piece blends perfectly with the decor, and offers up the perfect amount of space for guests to store their clothes during their stay.
I love the versatility of this Sauder dresser. I have used it in 3 different ways, and all have been functional and look great in the house. Using it in the entry way to keep all the clutter, then in the same space using it to store our shoes that we can pick up on our way out. Lastly, it’s been moved to my guest room where it adds a stylish touch to welcome our guests.
Hmmm, wouldn’t this dresser be great in the dining room to store linens? I can see a mirror on the wall behind it, topping the dresser with beautiful pitchers, dishes, and more to make it a stand out piece. Another great use for this classic dresser!
