Today I’m sharing a fun treat that I whipped up for the blog A Girl and a Glue Gun last Thanksgiving. It’s not just cute, but it’s yummy–the kids are sure to love it!
Candy Corn Turkeys
My favorite time of year is finally here, it’s fall ya’ll! I’m already thinking ahead to Thanksgiving, every year I host a big feast with all the trimmings. This year I thought I’d make something a little different for the kid’s table, a tasty little treat that is sure to make the littles on my turkey dinner list gobble, gobble with excitement!

How To Make Candy Corn Turkeys
Ingredients:
Pumpkin Spice Oreos
1 bag of Candy Corn
1 bag of mini chocolate chips
Icing
Vanilla ice cream
Caramel
Assemble the Turkey Treats:
Press the candy corn into the top of the cookie, pointing side down. Decorate your turkey! Add a couple of ‘dots’ of icing in the center of the cookies, top each with a chocolate chip. Cut the yellow end of pieces of candy corn. Add another bit of icing to the center, and place the cut candy corn on it, now your turkey has a nose! Make the Candy Corn Turkey Treats the night before and keep them in the fridge until you are ready to serve.
Scoop out some ice cream, drizzle caramel over it and top with your cute little turkey. Watch the kids scarf them down! And, feel free to grab one for yourself!

How’s that for a fun and super simple dessert even the kids can help assemble? Gobble, gobble, Happy Thanksgiving!
