Some of you may remember a while back, we started a Handmade Ornament Exchange. I couldn’t believe the excitement of a lot of our most loyal readers at the thought of making and exchanging handmade ornaments with one another. We wanted to celebrate the end of the exchange {and hope that most of you that participated have received your ornaments} by having a little link party to collect all of your wonderful creations!
Feel free to link up the ornament you created and/or received below.
Here’s the ornament I made! Merry Christmas to all of you!
To make this ornament you’ll need:
wood ornament (this one is from Michael’s), acrylic paint (I used Folk Art in red),map remnants,
Mod Podge Sparkle, small foam brush
Instructions:
Paint wood shape front and back, allow to dry. Using the foam brush add a light coat of the Mod Podge, and place the map remnants directly on top, carefully pressing down with your fingers. Add another coat of the Mod Podge Sparkle to the entire piece. Allow to dry and hang on your tree!
