Hi friends! If you follow me on social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) you’ve heard me talk about the Method Soaps cute pet photo contest all week. Each week they are selecting a winner to get Method’s ‘designed for good’ soaps, and a $50 gift card to Soap.com!
But first, how pretty are these bottles?
I am a huge fan of Method’s new line of ‘designed for good’ soaps, so of course I entered my pets in the contest! Oh, by the way, have you met Smokey and Abby? Allow me to introduce you…
Abby is about to enter the ‘terrible two’s, although in dog years, she’s a teenager–not sure which is worse. Smokey is 4, and this picture shows about as much of a ‘smile’ as we’re going to get out of him. Funny story about Smokey, he came with the house! When we were house hunting we saw this house with the previous owners still in it. Every time we went to see the house they were home. It was a little weird at first, but we actually got to know them a little! They were a really nice couple and they let our kids play with their cat, Smokey. Seeing as they were moving out of state, and how well the cat took to our kids, they asked if we’d like to keep him (along with all of his vet records of course), so we did! In essence we live in Smokey’s house. Abby came along about a year later. She’s the apple of my husband’s eye. Abby’s a great dog, although I’m more of a ‘cat person’, I will admit that Abby draws to my heart strings a little {Don’t tell anyone I said that}.
I entered each pet individually in the contest, wish me luck!
One of the reasons I love Method’s soaps so much is because they are 100% NOT tested on animals.
At Method they believe “guinea pigs should never be used as guinea pigs” {I love that quote}, that’s why they never test their products on animals or use animal by-products – ever. They make make non-toxic products that are safe for cleaning up after and around pets. Of course if products are made to be safe for pets, then they are safe around kids as well. You may know I have a couple of those too!
If you want to do your part in supporting cruelty-free products, purchase a bottle of Method’s limited edition “Design for Good” soap and enter the cute pet photo contest.
