This post is #sponsored by Anchr.co, all opinions are mine.
When I come across something way cool, I always think to myself, ‘I gotta tell my readers about this’! Well, I’m doing just that..I just signed up for Anchr.co, have you heard of it?
It’s a simple and beautiful way to share visual questions! Do you ever tag your friends on Instagram or Pinterest with the simple question: “What do you think? Or “Should I buy this?” I do this ALL.THE. TIME. Anchr.co allows you to post pictures, either from the internet or of your very own, and ask for a virtual opinion. You can post questions alongside images; follow people, organizations, and focus groups; vote, comment and review the result. Your followers can simply click on the little star at the bottom of the picture that they like best, and then it’ll reveal the percentage of clicks. Basically, which one is most liked or most clicked.
Like other visual sites, it can become addicting (be warned), but it’s so, so fun!! Unlike other sites, it’s so easy to navigate, you can click your way through the pictures quickly, and snag some great ideas while you’re at it. Since for most of us, the people that surround us are our main ‘influencers’, it’s simple to get their thoughts on your images with the click of a button.
Anchr.co is brand new and so far focused on Home Decor, Men’s and Women’s Fashion, Weddings, and Food & Drink {with plans to expand as they continue to grow}.
Didn’t I tell you it was cool? I love exploring trends and seeing how my tastes compare across the categories I love. I think it’s great to meet new people through shared interests too. They have a great mobile site to make it easy to access on the go, and nice apps like the ‘Anchr it” button for your browser. Simply upload it to your bookmarks and you can ‘anchr’ a pic from any page the internet with just one click!
I’ve been exploring the site the last few days, and just signed up for a free account. Check it out, I know you’ll be as addicted as I am. Follow me on Anchr here, and lets help each other answer those pressing visual questions!
