Bacon Waffles

Bacon Waffles Recipe via hello life

I love to wake to the smell of sizzling bacon.  I also looove coming home from a long day to the same smell of crispy bacon frying in a greasy pan.  Basically any time is a good time for BACON!

Last weekend I was working on an egg and bacon sandwich and accidentally made too much bacon..whoops. I could’ve just left it out on the counter and watched it disappear within an hour, instead though I decided to put it to better use by putting it in my dinner dish. Breakfast for dinner, that is.

These easy Bacon Waffles are surefire winners at my house for breakfast, brunch, or dinner.

Powdered sugar and maple syrup are the perfect compliment to the salty bacon.

There’s something so fun about changing the norm a bit.  Even something as simple as switching up the order of meals can make me feel like I’m breaking some unwritten rule and that hey, I can if I want to! Besides, a little night-time sugar rush never hurt anybody, right?

If you have a ‘no sweets at night’ rule at your house, no sweat! Make these yummy Bacon Waffles in the morning. I always make extra so I can freeze and enjoy later—just toss in the toaster and serve warm, even the kids can do it!

Oooh they look so good! I’m all about breaking that unwritten rule and having breakfast for dinner. It’s good to keep things interesting by straying from the norm every so often. Definitely making these soon. Thanks for a delicious recipe, Barbara!

thsese sound really good. I prefer having waffles for dinner. In the directions it says to use 2 eggs. The recipe I usually use just calls for egg whites. Is it correct that we use the whole egg?
If so I think I prefer this recipe as its a hassle to just use the whites unless you buy just the whites which I don’t. I just need to go shopping now & get some bacon. Mmmm
    I can hardly wait.
