The holidays mean decorating, gift giving, cookie baking, family gatherings, card sending and many other yearly rituals. I have always loved the tradition of sending and receiving Christmas cards in the mail. Coming home to a small stack of cards wishing me a “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays”, or reminding me to celebrate “Joy” and “Peace”, and hoping we have a “Happy New Year” is a thrill. It puts a smile on my face and makes me excited to find a spot to display them all.
This year I waited too long to book family pix, but I did nonetheless and I’m so excited! I am going to have to wait until mid December, but I am so looking forward to getting them and designing my Christmas cards on Minted. They have such a beautiful selection I know it’s going to be a BLAST putting my card together.
So I’ve been looking through their Holiday Photo Card collection, and I’ll admit I’m having a SUPER hard time trying to narrow down which one to choose. Of course I don’t have the picture in hand which only makes things that much more difficult, but I do have some favorites.
Our pictures will be shot in a dry grassy area much like the card at the bottom left, so naturally I’m leaning towards that one. I love the simple cursive font. I also really love the one on the top left with the map, how cute is that for our friends and family from out of state?! I may just make a few of them that are covered in knee deep snow a little jelly from the west coast!
Which one would you choose? For more options head over to Minted and be sure to let me know which one you like best. I could really use your help!
While on the Minted site I stumbled upon their blog, Julep. Holy jingle bells those are some gorgeous pictures! I had no idea Minted had such a great blog full of DIY craft and decor ideas. This DIY Advent Calendar stood out to me:
Beautiful! The tutorial comes complete with free printables so you can make your own! SWEET!
I am really looking forward to our family pics this year! One of the things the kids are excited about is that I told them I’d try to include our dog Abbey in the pictures, because after all, she is part of our family. Let’s see how that goes!
