I’ve been working hard to get rid of the last elle bee’s for summer. I’ve been following the Weight Watcher’s plan and exercising. One of my weaknesses is my love Starbucks and The Coffee Bean. Their tasty Frappuccino’s are pretty high in points, so I thought I’d make up my own. I got it down to just 1 point per serving!
If you want to to try it, here’s what you’ll need:
{1 Point Frappuccino}
Ingredients & Directions:
1 cup of fresh brewed coffee {0 points}
1/2 cup of almond milk -vanilla flavored {0 points}
1 banana {0 Points}
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. sugar {1 point}*
1 cup of ice
Blend all ingredients together and serve cold.
Notice I am not using any artificial sweeteners or ingredients. All ‘real’ food, and mostly items we already have in our pantries!
*{If you choose to use an artificial sweetener you can get this recipe down to 0 points}
*{If you use a frozen banana it’ll kick the sweetness up a notch, without adding any more points} :)
So tasty! The cinnamon added just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering.
This 1 Point Frappuccino was a refreshing pick me up that got me over the ‘mid day slump’, and helped carry me through my workout.
