What do you do when you have a few extra minutes and you’re feeling crafty? If you’re anything like me you’ll start to peruse through your craft stash and start brainstorming. I did just that and after digging up a few goodies, ended up with the cutest votive candle holder! Easy as pie, and made with items most of us crafties already have at home.
This post was initially published in January 2014 but I wanted to re-publish it for you today because I know that you will love it as much as I did. Besides, who doesn’t appreciate an easy-peasy craft?
These fun candle holders are simple to make with Dollar Store votives! Perfect for Valentine’s Day, weddings, parties, centerpieces, or just pretty table decorations!
DIY Votive Candle Holder
Materials:
A roll of Duck Tape {duct tape} in your favorite design
Paper towel core {or toilet paper core}
Votive candle

{Seriously, how cute is this pattern?? It kinda looks like heart fingerprints to me! LOVE!}
How to make a DIY Duck Tape Votive Candle Holder:
Step 1:
Cut the cardboard core down to your desired size.
Step 2:
Wrap the Duck Tape around it {carefully} and tear the ends off (or use scissors made specifically for duct tape)
Place the votive in it, and done!
This is a great gift idea that even the kids can help make. Perfect for a teacher or neighbor or anyone else you want to show a little ‘love’ towards! These days Duct Tape is available in zillions of other designs, so you can make DIY Votive Candle Holders for any holiday, or just for fun!
