Nothing says “Spring” like flowers in bloom! This rustic yet elegant spring wreath for the front door or anywhere in your home is perfect way to ring in the spring! Start with a simple grapevine wreath and create your own!
Don’t forget to PIN it!
FLORAL SPRING WREATH
The weather where I live hasn’t been nearly as brutal as some of you have had it, but we’ve had our fair share of rain to make for a miserable winter. In case you haven’t heard, Southern Californians do not do rain, we can hardly drive in it and even when it’s just a sprinkle we go into a panic. We like our sunshine, and now that spring is approaching, it’s back in full force, just how we like it!
I took my holiday wreath down in early January and my front door has been bare ever since. With such a rainy winter I just didn’t want to risk ruining my door décor so I went on about my life, wreathless for month, until just this week when I hung up my latest crafty endeavor, a Spring Floral Wreath.
Michaels Floral Market new has over 500 new blooms so it was easy to stop by and pick up several to make my pretty wreath.
Want to hang a little “spring” onto your front door? Make this wreath in 20 minutes or less:
Materials:
Grapevine wreath
3 fabric hydrangeas all the same color
4 fabric peonies in assorted colors
Gold Gilded letters to spell out the word “Bloom” (or anything you like!)
Thick ribbon
Hot glue and several glue sticks
DIRECTIONS:
Cut the stems and leaves off of the flowers, and set aside. Arrange the flowers along the left side of the grapevine wreath. Try to keep them as close together as possible so as to not show any part of the wreath form. Glue them in place. Arrange the leaves in the same fashion, go back and glue them in as well.
On the opposite side of the wreath, lay out your phrase, “bloom”, making sure that it is evenly across from the flowers to create a nice balance. Glue the gilded letters onto the wreath.
Lastly, tie the ribbon into a bow and hot glue it on the top of the wreath. Make it as big or small as necessary to fill most of the space up there.
A simple to make wreath that looks anything but! I couldn’t stop staring at my pretty new wreath as I drove out of my driveway this morning, it really does brighten up my porch! I am headed back to Michaels for more florals, just swapping out a few décor pieces or adding a lovely floral arrangement can completely transform your home for the fresh, new season. After a dreary winter, I need to add a little “spring” to the inside of my home as well!

This is gorgeous! I’d love to make it and hang it on my door but I’m afraid I’d jinx things and we’d end up with three more months of winter (I live in Colorado so that is entirely possible!) Still…this is so pretty that I might just have to chance it :)

Thank you! That’s funny! Maybe make it and hang it up inside the house, where it’ll be spring regardless of what the outdoor temperatures say!
