around here! Spring has definitely sprung, if I do say so myself. With flowers in bloom and sunshine all around, it’s definitely time to start thinking about keeping cool. How about a couple of Sweet Spring Treats? Sweet treats are great, but lots of sugar, not so great. Sweet Spring Treats (Swapping Sugar for Splenda)
Birthday Party Practically Sugar Free Treat Recipe
I made this one for my son’s shark birthday party! The kids loved the traditional birthday cake, while the adults enjoyed an alternative: a non-alcoholic jello dessert sweetened with Splenda. Cute, and so yummy!
Ingredients:
{Makes 25 servings}
4 Sugar free Jello packages (Berry Blue)
1/4 cup Splenda Sugar Blend Sweetner
“Sweedish Fish” candy {optional}
Directions:
Make the jello as directed on the package. Once it’s set, scoop it out into pretty clear plastic cups with an ice cream scoop. Place one gummy fish in each cup. SO cute!
Blueberry Iced Sweet Green Tea
I make this drink all the time! Delicious and healthy refreshment!
Ingredients:
Green tea bag
1/4 cup of frozen blueberries
Ice cubes
2 packets of SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener
Directions:
Brew tea as usual. Add the blueberries to the bottom of the glass and pour the brewed tea over it. Sweeten with Splenda, and add several ice cubes. Enjoy!
