Hello LOVElies….that day is almost near….Valentine’s Day! Are you ready for it? Here’s a simple and fun little project you can whip up in no time…and yes you can even wait until the last minute!
I made these Valentine’s Day Cookie Cups for my son’s class, and you can too!
Here’s what you’ll need:
Cupcake liners
Ribbon Tags
Hole punch & Scissors
(all of my craft materials come from Michael’s!)
Cookies or light candy (not too heavy)
How to make Valentine’s Day Cookie Cups
Step 1: Punch a hole in the tag
Step 2: Doubling up the liners, punch a hole on either side (making sure they are directly across from each other)
Step 3: Pull an 8″ or so piece of ribbon through (from the outside, in), and tie a knot on one end
Step 4: Pull the tag through the ribbon, and tie a knot on the opposite end
Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4, in my case, it was 17 times
Step 6: Fill them with your kid’s favorite cookies, or any candy. Make sure the contents are not too heavy!
How easy peasy was that? Have your kid’s help you put these together!
I’ve had so much fun crafting for Valentine’s Day these last few weeks! What Valentine’s Day crafts did you make this year?
XOXO,
Linking up here and…
